    I don't care about the weight I just want my car to be as quite on the inside as I can get it.

    Sound deadner, If you do it correctly and use quality materials made for the purpose, yes it is worth it. I used Second Skin products. It will add pounds to your car but there is no light weight material that will do the job well.
