I am generally much further south, San Diego harbor aboard the HMS Surprise. My first love is particle physics with 18th century warfare and both British and US naval battles. That's how I got to be a docent at the Maritime Museum of San Diego. Retired, now, I worked in the Nuclear, Oil and Gas business for over 50 years starting in the navy in 1959.
Now I am in either Carlsbad or SD most days. At home I write, read and sometimes work on a 1965 Mustang. Enjoy your retirement. It only gets better with time.
