Wow! You did an excellent job installing the goodies! Exhaust plate is perfectly placed and the fangs certainly added protection as well as an OE like-new look. Congrats and enjoy!
Thank you. I'll let you know when it gets here and send you a pic of it mounted . I'm actually more worried about mounting the fangs. I've looked at where they go but I'm not at all clear about how they'd mount.
Shipped your goodies today, 3/31, from Minneapolis via FedEx Ground Home Delivery. Here is the tracking number: 798391832009. If you wish, you may go to fedex.com and check its progress, I'm thinking at your door Thursday or Friday of this week.
About the double-stick tape on the back of the exhaust plate: I think I've had this item for at least four years. The tape, applied by exhaust plate maker, is the really good 3M automobile stuff, but we can't be really sure how 'good' it is after all this time. Perhaps you could take a trip to an auto parts store and get a fresh roll of this stuff and perhaps apply a strip of the new stuff next to the old for guaranteed adhesion. Also, make sure the mounting surface on your Vette is super clean, and that you wipe it down with alcohol before mounting.
