Phil,
Heard great things about you. I have a less than exotic '97 Vette and could really use some expertise on the tuning. It runs OK (one track day at Gingerman), but it could use some work on the Powertran Control Unit. Mostly I notice hesitation and the dashpot strategy is not conducive to going fast. I would also like a recommendation on the exhaust system. It's OE now, but I could use a less restrictive system with a (little) rumble. Can you help me out? I can be reached at 248 420 2180.

Phil, are you still working on corvettes? You did a tune for me in 2012 and I will be needing another tune (Jeff Canty, 1999 Targa, 6 speed, Magnetic Red...sure you see tons of cars so this may not ring a bell). I am adding a FAST 92MM, LS2 Throttle Body and MAF...hence, I need a tune. Also, I still need to put in a small cam. Let me know if I can schedule something.

Hello Dr. Phil,
I hope that you can help me resolve a question that has been batted around the C5 Forum recently. I have an early production 99 with a MN6 that I am told has a Borg Warner trans with paper blocker rings. The Owner's manual says to use DEXRON III ATF but the Tech Reps at Tremec (who bought BW) say to use Mobil 1 ATF. Forum posters say that the paper blockers will be damaged by Mobil 1 and that I should be using Royal Purple or Amsoil ATF. Would you please offer your opinion?
