The first dealer, the local one I usually deal with blew it off. The dealership I bought it from was very happy to check it out and they noted right away it was the thrust bearing. I bumped into a friend of the service manager when I picked it up that is a C7 Z06 owner; and he told me that the service manager told him that they "upated" the thrust bearings with the new updated version of the bearing insinuating that this is a known problem. If you want, I can scan my sheet form the service department to you to print out and show your dealership if you think that may help.
