It's been awhile since I've been on the forum. Any luck by now?

Hey Bill, lousy weather yet. It's still colder tham hell in my garage, but at least it's not windy in there. Still havn't installed the Side Skirts, and still havn't open the box with the Splitter in it. My race ramps are 10 inches high, I figure I can get enough rivet's or screws to hold the front up, back it down off of the ramp, move the ramps, and back it on to do the other end. IF IT EVER WARMS UP!

Hey Bill, my side skirts and splitter finally got here today. My 'Race Ramps' got here yesterday. I haven't even opened any of the boxs yet, (it's cold out, and it ain't a hell of a lot warmer in my garage.) Give me a holler when you want to come down and look at the splitter.

No hurry whenever you come down is fine.

I don't know what Ken is advertizing his cargo mat for, but I know it's higher than what I paid for mine. (30% off list price.) So I paid $135 + shipping I believe. Anyway I'll check the exact price, and all we have to do is figure out how to get it to you. If you're not in a hurry, I'll bring it up when I pick up my car, (in Laurel in late Nov. or Dec.) who knows, but it's gettin closer.
All I did with the mat was take it out of the box and un-roll it and then put it back in. I thought it would fit the convertible, (but that was before everybody started showing the liner for the top of the trunk.)

No I didn't buy a cargo mat yet. But I want one so sounds good to me, let me know how much and we'll make it happen.

Hey Bill, I think your wife told me that you bought the cargo mat (the trunk mat) from Ken Fichtner. If you havn't bought it yet, I have a brand new one that I'll make you a great deal on. I figured it would fit in my convertible, but now I think it won't work out for me.

That's exactly what my Mother said to me regarding my taking 'The Redheaded Mistress' to Forsyth, Mt. for a 4 day weekend, (Fathers day weekend every year) for the Quigley Buffalo Rifle shoot. Somehow she had forgotten just how small a 64 Corvette is, and of course since my Dad used to pack the cars all of the time, she just seemed to think that damn near everything that the two of them owned somehow magically appeared whereever they went.
Two damn big 12 pound rifles, and their even bigger and heaver gun cases, my shooting partner, and all of our gear would have never fit.

Ya gotta admit that carrying two wet Labs in your new car, (along with about a dozen dead Pheasents,) would have probably have gotten rid of that nasty 'new car smell'!

Give me a call, and I'll do my best to be there. Just look for a guy with an old Grey Ford pick up, wearing a big cowboy hat, and carrying a camera. Are we talking about Tuesday, or Thursday? (Either one will work for me, and there's alway the chance that my wife will drive up and if so the two of us will b e in a white Hyundai.)
