Just took a look at your thread and I thought I might be able to help you. I found a 66 300hp coupe last year with only 25k on the clock. Full documentation, 1 owner, slight repair where the nose cracked and in outstanding original condition.
http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c1-a...rage-find.html Check it out and it may help you. The guy who has it has always thought it's worth huge money, but I have done a ton of homework with this car. The 300hp motor hurts it, plus it does not currently run. I have agreed to buy it for $33k and letting him take his time in picking the day to make the transaction. Some say that is to much money and others think I'm getting a good deal. My dad has a friend who was a Bloomington Gold judge and he stated when it's all said and done the car needs to be running and original at $50k or I will be under water. I don't know if this helps you with your car or not, but I know lots of people go nuts over the barn find.
