- I have always loved Corvettes since I was a kid, and now I have one of my own. My father-in-law recently passed away very suddenly from leukemia, and my mother-in-law has given one of his Vettes to me. My father-in-law was a great man who I loved, respected, and looked up to much more than my own father. He treated me as his own son. And he loved speed!
