Drone with the Borla's? With AFM and NPP support through the dual mode Borla Ataks I have not had an issue. When you put it into Tour mode it quiets right down.

One of the main reasons I wanted to keep NPP functionality was to have the ability to make it quite when desired.

I've spent some time on the highway and if you are using Tour mode it's not been a problem; all I can hear is the tire road noise! For me, I leave it in Track exhaust mode probably 98% of the time, it's just those times when I am with the wife on a longer drive or have a huge headache or need to talk on the phone while driving that I didn't want to lose the NPP capability.

If you are just replacing the rear exhaust section, I really don't think you'll have an issue as the Borlas; not that much louder than stock NPP. I have the ARH midlength headers with cats, off road Corsa double helix x-pipe, and Borlas and that will howl in Track mode over 4,000 rpm.

Dean - I have been following this thread for quite some time and have listened to your sound clips multiple times. Looking at swapping out the stock exhaust on my 14 C7 (Z51 Vert). Originally wanted Corsa Extremes but no leaning towards the Borla ATAK's since I want to keep the NPP capability. Have been told by several corvette techs and salesman they would be concerned about the drone from the Borlas. If you don't mind could you give me your impressions? Is there an issue to be concerned or has Borla taken care of that? Thanks in advance for your assistance. Really liked the sound on your C7.
