Hi, 91turbo2, welcome to the Forum. I have three '74s and know a little about them. Thirty years ago, I bought a wrecked Corvette (NOTHING forward of the firewall!!!) hoping to graft a right hand drive Holden chassis to it, but ended up parting it out as I could not find the Corvette parts I needed here in Australia. Fifteen years ago I bought an almost complete car, an auto, but have bought another coupe and a convertible since, both 4 speeds. You're lucky in that Corvette parts are easy to come by in the USA, so I say "Go for it" and build the car the way you want to. Call me any time if you think I can help.
