Greenasgrass ... Yes my screen name came from Rush's song Red Barchetta. My Corvette is also red. Neal Peart the drummer was reading a fictitious story in automobile magazine about the day sports cars were outlawed. Drivers in large vehicles would get their kicks out of hunting down any illegal sports cars and smashin them. This story gave him the idea for the song. I grew up as a teenager in the 80's and all the popular rock bands at that time. Ventura Highway, and Pacific Coast Highway are all great roads to ride in the West.

Barchetta, I had to send you a note because the band Rush wrote a song about a young man whose uncle had preserved a red barchetta. the narrative was set sometime in the future when I suppose internal combustion engines were outlawed. If you listened to the words and the music, with some imagination and the aid of, well..., you could literally imagine, and to some extent the experience. When was it, '78 when the album Moving Pictures was released and Rush toured to promote it? It is best to listen too in your easy Chair with the headphones on and your eyes' closed. Even better of course had you access to a barchetta and a good open road. You live in washington state, I am in the midwest. Would "ventura highway" , a song by the band america be a good road to drive. I can only suppose that maybe you traveled south to cali. and had been on ventura. Well, if your from my era, this note may bring back a few found memories. Oh, and being a businessman, get out there and make some money :-)
