I am doing well. Less active on the forum since I am gearing up for another deployment to Afghanistan. Just came off some leave and noticed some i=new info on the forum. Looks like your dealer friend was right about the dash. Seems to wrap around the driver similar to how the late C4s did. I love porsche too but would only consider a used GT3 or maybe a GTS.
GT2's are great too but are super expensive even used! I bought a 2006 GT3 a couple years ago and sold it a year later. I did not like the low end torque. You have to drive them close to redline to feel the power. Other than that, they are fantastic sports cars. Nothing steers like a GT3!
Still holding out hope that I like the design of the C7 and that it handles closer to GT3 capabilities. I think that is the direction they are going. I bet the engineers put a lot of time into steering feel and making the car feel smaller and easier to drive at higher speed.
You doing ok bro ? Did you buy another car? I almost pulled the trigger on a 11 Carrera S tiptronic for 75,000. Dealer tells me it is a Porsche "school" car. I had to walk away.. I would love the little back seats.
