- Took out the 190hp and put in a new Crate 290hp. Went through the old 3 speed auto. Put in a shift kit. I have it the shop now having the rear end gears changed out so I can get some higher more mph. At 100mph it was 5000rpm. putting in a set of 331's....should bring rpm down.
