hey Bret, you ever come by any LQ9 short blocks?
i've been pondering swapping one into the GMC with my current 862 heads & 219/224 .551/.551 113+3° cam. should be around 11.2 SCR / 10.3 DCR and a little over 215 dynamic cranking pressure.
you see any worries with that for a DD pickup & occasional 5-7k lb trailer... so long as i keep 91 in the tank & the timing stays conservative?
Hello Bret, Need to get another alternator from you for my 2012 ZR1, OEM is not holding up, think it might be the heat build-up. Please let me know what you recommend and price. The one I bought from you for my 2007 vette is still doing and looking great! Thanks!

I had an A&A kit installed at East Texas Muscle Cars and Stephen did a good job with everything for the most part. The only part is it has cam surge pretty bad and is running pretty rich right now, ( I don't have any gauges right now just can smell the gas and black soot from the exhaust). He told me that it is normal to have cam surge like that but I have read on here that many tuners can smooth it out quite a bit and was wanting to see if you could see what you could do with it. Do you have a dyno to check it out?
