    Hey, Curt. No, I'm under the car cleaning the frame right now. I'm going to install the new rear spring, new control arm bushing, etc. Probably be a while before the motor goes in, I have a bunch of other work to finish first.

    Yeah, let me know what you find out with the motor.

    Curt, the motor was in the car when I bought it. It is the serial number matching motor to my Corvette. If the rods have been stamped, then it's been rebuilt at some point.

    The previous owner said it was untouched original. But I'm not too surprised because a lot of things he told me were not true. I bought the car sight unseen, bad idea with a Corvette.

    Well I got the pan off and it's a 4 bolt main. Did you have this motor long? The reason I ask is the connecting rods have been number stamped. And looks like new head gaskets. Did the previous owner give you any info?
