- I have been an avid corvette fan since 15. I purshase my 1st corvette, a 69 350/350 hp coupe at 16. Ive been in love ever since. i opened my own corvette business at 21 in Lafayette Louisiana. Business was brisk untill the end of the oil boom in 1987. Owing and selling more than 600 corvettes from 1973 till 1987. Lost intrest for awhile. Regrouped in the late 90s and have been a sportsman since. In 2001 after searching for that just right 75 convertible I found a Z07 car in Long Island New York.
