    Hi Cat,

Happy new year to you too! That's one sharp car - I've been thinking about a re-paint, and if I do - it'll definitely be black. Should be a great little get-together, as I've met 2 guys because of the forum, and a third from car shows. Psyched to trade some experience and tips/tricks.

How much work have you done to yours? Any other engine work? Interior? Suspension? A buddy and I are currently engaged in a complete rear-end rebuild, which I'm very psyched about. It'll be the foundation for a much stronger engine and hopefully fix a lotta the old/crappy ride issues I'm having.

Anyway - nice to e-meet you. My name's Dean.

    Hallo Dehista,
Nice to meet you...Im in Fredericksburg, Va and I won't mind driving down this spring for a get together. The Va antique plate was issued by my local DMV..I believe you have a choice of the yellow one (the one on your car) that you can actually personalize or the black VA antique one (not personalization option available). Just go on DMVNow.com and click on Plate purchase on the left, go to "Browse" and you'll see your options.
Cheers and Happy New year to you.

    Hi Cat,

Welcome - looks like you've been around for a while, long than I've been around the forums! Anyway - I have a 73 454 that I've been doing a buncha work on, and noticed your VA Antique plate - where'd you get that? I'd like to register mine as Antique, but with the right plates...

I live in Arlington and have a buddy with a 69 in Leesburg and Rogman (from Vegas) is hanging in Alexandria for a few more months - if you wanna get together with a few other vette's when the weather's warm, lemme know. I'm itching to get a crew together around NoVA!

    Happy new year!

Hello everyone...need some advise...my 1973 Corvette has a chevy 402 with lots of miles and just found out it needs new rings!!!$$
    so I was able to find a 454 out of a 1974 GMC RV Casting # 3999289..with 60K miles.
It this 454 the right engine for my car... or should I stick with the 402?

    Cheers.
