The system is a Flaming River power rack and pinion. It bolts between frame rails with no modification to the car. I plan on removing it after my son departs from a visit first week of Nov. No leaks works fine and steers great. I don't know anything about hooker header clearance. I would call Flaming River people and ask them. They should be able to provide some good info. I'm about to go the process of removing front clip which was installed completely wrong and replacing. What manufacture built your front clip (just so I can avoid another headache)?
