- I purchased my first Corvette in Oct 1979. It was a 1968 Rally Red Roadster with A/C, 4spd, both tops and 327/300HP built to 350HP specs. I sold it in Feb 1983.
28 years later and 30 years newer, I bought my 2nd Corvette in October 2011, a mint 1998 C5 Convertible with 59,000 miles with two sets of tires and wheels including the original Magnesium wheels. After being furloughed by the government, I sold it just eight months after I bought it. The only thing I did to it was add a Borla exhaust - Country of Residence
