I made the resistor bypass and used OEM connectors. Covered in black hidden behind frame can't see them New 2017 performance ride shocks made car drive nice and no squeeks. All is well now driving car and performance is great on top of quiet no squeak ride.

Your car still looks great. Many miles have passed. My son is now promoted to LtCol and commander of air rescue USAFE. My C5 is going strong but squeeks from the rubber bushings like a log wagon. Everyone states sway bar bushings but I have been through 3 sets and it is not the sway bar. I suspect the spring end mounts front and rear. Shop tells me they have teflon in the end points but mine still squeek like an old Ford truck.
