Hi, I'm Jerry. We have similar set ups and I have a question I'm hoping you might be able to answer. I recently purchased this particular car a few months ago. I've found the builder and rea hed out to him for general info on the car. He's also the tuner and works for a reputable speed shop in TX.

Car has A&A v3 t trim with 3.60 10 rib setup. I was told the car made 800 whp. I see where A&A offers a 3.4 as their smallest pulley. Votex has a 3.47 10 rib pulley. When I inquired about going to the 3.47 pulley with the builder/ tuner, he told me it was a waste of time due to heat soak and I should just go YSI. I understand heat soak, but I'm not sure if I believe it's a waste of time.
Do you have any thoughts on this? Thank you for your time.
