Easy does it,....I get that. Probably why my tires last so long. Mine's street only, no track. I did one burn out a long time ago just to see if I could boil the drag radials,....not a problem.

    Thanks for your help.

I am planning on ordering tire/wheel set-up and would like to ask your opinion on size/fitment before I make a custom order and screw it up!!!

I'm planning on ordering US Mags Rambler's as they are much more affordable than Superlites and if I ever put flares on the car will upgrade to CCW 3-piece wheels later on.

After a lengthy review on this forum, it appears that most are running 18x8's 4" BS front and 18x9.5's 5.25 BS rear.

The Rambler's come in custom offsets but only 9" or 10" wide for the rear. Do you feel that I could get away with 18x10's in the rear? and what max tire size? I found one forum member running 18x10's with 315/30's in back and claims no rubbing?

Just wondering what our thoughts are since you seem to have a lot of knowledge on alignment and wheel set-up. (I also read your post on the 4 sp conversion...very impressive! I'd like to swap in a 4 speed someday)

    Thanks again,
    Bruce

    hello

I am very interested in your t56 install. I have a 77 that I would like to do the same or the tko conversion to. I noticed you live in sherwood park, I live south of spruce. I was wandering if you had any interested in meeting up so i could pick your brain?
    thanks

You know of anyone else from the Corvette Forum attending the week we are?

So what training are you taking Wed-Fri? I took day 3 of Level 1 over and then day 1 and 2 of Level 2. But you could be taking private track days with an instructor or Level 3 also.

I'm also setting up range time at the shooting range Tues. evening before dinner and after the track session for Sally and I and any one who wants to attend. If you're a shooter, bring a gun, ammo, hearing and eye protection to the track.

I'm also working on having the track club house bar open prior to our dinner reservations in the event some wish to hit the club house and not the shooting range before dinner and after driving school.

    Your call!
