With respect to the "melting steering wheel" topic from a while back, my '98 airbag was the same as the adhesive side of black electrical tape. Nasty. The end result and current status is as new. Matches the texture/finish of the new Apsis leather C5D steering wheel, and djmotorsports leather seats. Product used? Water-based Goof-Off plastic and vinyl cleaner. Takes time and microfiber rags to get it done, but works great. (On a black airbag). Pull the horn fuse, because you'll be scrubbing the bag in quarters/small areas to gain any effect. You can't just spray it on and wipe it off, you gotta scrub. If you doubt the result during the process, use a terrycloth towel and it will display the areas you need to focus on due to the amount of lint residue. My results were short of miraculous, and I was worried goin' in. Just sayin', that gooey wheel "slurps"!
