Hi, sorry or the delay in responding. The wheels are American Racing Torq Thrust II in 17x8 with 4.07 backspace. The tires are 255/50-17 rear and 245/45-17 front. I made no suspension changes and have lots of clearance. The selections of 17" tires has gotten smaller in 7 years and I might consider 18". You may have to relocate your parking brake cable bracket for the 18's though. Thanks for the compliments.

    Hello there "flyeri"!

I saw the picture of your car with that paint job and those wheels. Wow, it is really beautiful! I was curious as I am looking for wheels for my 1968 C3 as well. I have an "early" 1968 L-71 car that I bought 27 years ago and still love it to pieces.

What wheels are you using on your C3? What size wheel and tire were you able to squeeze into the wheel well. Are you using the modified trailing arms on your car or are they the stock ones? Did you have to modify anything to make it work on the C3?

That must be fun being a Corporate Pilot, I am your basic 172 kind of pilot. I bought a 1958 Cessna 172 and had it for about 6 years before the kids started to appear. I love flying but five crushed discs has put an end to that.

I hope that you are surviving the hurricane okay down there in N.C.! Thanks in advance for your time and help! That is one of the best looking 1968 Corvettes you have!
    Good Luck and stay safe!
