The fuel line from the pump to the carb should be a one piece metal tube. If you have rubber in your line, its either someone has messed up the tubing or your carb is wrong. for example, mine had a old carb on it or something like that so the fuel inlet was in the wrong place. If you have the right quadrajet carb the stock metal fuel line should fit
Saw your message regarding fuses & leaking carb. These Quadrajets leak from the bottom. There are two lead plugs that seep fuel. You'll need to remove the carb, turn it over, and look near the center and you'll see brown deposits from the fuel. Clean it with carb cleaner, then brake cleaner (BC doesn't leave deposits) and epoxy with JB weld. Carb rebuild isn't neccesary for this particlar problem. Good Luck, Pm me if you have any questions, Michael
Actually, one of the best ways to tell exactly what the original color was is to look underneath the door panels. Overspray from the factory got sprayed there, and these areas usually survive a repainting process. Mine has also been repainted, but i love the color regardless even if its not 100 correct. I know there is a guy in here with a green 75 vert which is absolutly gorgeous
Hey,
I LOVE the color of your vette! In my opinion its the best color you could get on a '75. I might be a little biased. Check out my posts to see some pics of another bright green 75
