- This is my first Corvette, I waited 40 years to get it. In 1969 I almost purchased one, but got married instead, helped raise a family, purchased a home and helped start a business. I will be 65 this August and I said last August 2009 it's time to fulfill my long and never ending dream to own a Corvette. I guess you are never too old to own a vette, Amen.
