Hi Bert, I see it looks like you finished your vette... it looks nice. I haven't been on the site for a long time so I had to look at your pictures.

Hello, I'm not sure if you're still active but it looks like you had a similar project. Would you have any advice or information regarding birdcage repair? Any measurements or angles would be appreciated.

    Hey Bert,

Just wanted to thank you for letting me know about this site. I picked up some hooker headers last weekend off the for sale list. A very nice purchase. We pulled the motor last week and are getting ready to crack it open and take a look at what we have. I also bought a original Lt1 hood that needs to be redone. I might have a few questions for you once I start the fiberglass work on that. Hope things are going well on you project. Talk to you later.

Hello, Bert! The 66-67 yellow IS very similar, if not identical, to 984 Safari Yellow. I am waiting for some time to finish my re-paint, so I will be searching a 2 stage that matches the factory color. I really wanted a maroon, black, or blue car, but I have really come to love the yellow. It is a unique look, and when you see the Safari yellow on a C3, you know it is a 68! Daytona yellow in 69 is much darker. I hope you are dug out from the blizzard! I also love the late 60's firebirds.
