Saw the car this morning. Greg is a C4 owner himself and is very knowledgeable about them so when he gets cars to sell he knows pretty much what they are before he buys them.

The paint is in great condition, It had a little more metallic in the paint than I remember for a stock color. Greg looked it up and the factory that is close to that color was a little darker. So they is the possibility of a repaint,However I will say that it is one of the best repaints I have seen . I could not find any evidence that it had repainted.

Mechanically the car appeared to run and drive well . Started right up.

The wheels and tires are above average.

The interior was nice. The seats have been redone but I don't know if the patten is correct as they changed that several times with the C4's.


dash was good and all instruments were working.


It has a after market radio(like most of us). The antenna did not work and the radio stayed on after the ignition was turned off. He said that the speakers were new.

This is probably due to wiring direct instead of using the after market harness'

About $75.00 would fix that problem and I wouldn't let that stop me from buying the car.

Engine compartment was clean and showed no signs of being wrecked. He said the car fact report said the same.

Last home was in Texas.

The top was in good condition but did show the usual wear in the area that folds down. It is typical for these cars to show that .
