    Hi Steve,
    I had AR 200s wheels 15x8 and I believe 4" backspace. Yours are a 1/2" wider but a 1/4" less offset so the 1/2" is pushed to the outside giving you clearance on the inside. 79 has different fender and 1/4 panel clearance at wheel opening so it should clear but not going to guarantee anything. Since 255 was available in 79 you would be ok with that. It's only 10mm narrower. Good luck.
