    Hey... Sorry to bother.

I came across one of your old post in search of a recent problem that I am now having with my tranny. Im having the identical problem of dissapearing tranny fluid with no apparent leaks. The difference Im having is that Im having a "whining" noise when its in gear, not Park or Nuetral.

Can you share how you fixed the problem and what diagnosing you did to fix?

    Thanks

    Marcus

Hello Steve, thanks for the info about the classic car night that is held each Thursday evening. I work during the afternoon/evenings Monday through Friday. This past Sunday morning, I installed a new transmission (trans took a dump late last month) in my Vette and did not get the radiator flushed yet I also have to get a new exhaust system on the vehicle or just replace the sections I cut away (at the header flange and just after the crossmember) then the Vette will be back on the road.

I'm the guy who posted the question about headers that you responded to yesterday. I live in Great Bridge and see you're in Norfolk. Maybe I'll see you around. BTW, the Fossil Rock Inn at Centerville and Mount Pleasant has a classic car night every Thursday this month. The first two have been rainouts, but the food is good and resonbly priced - you should check it out.
