Hi - Sorry, I was just reviewing my messages and saw that I hadn't responded to your question.

They did program the sensors into your TPMS computer's memory after the new one was installed, didn't they?

You say your car was imported from the U.S., so it should have U.S. sensors installed.

You mentioned that you got a new sensor from a local dealer - did they get the correct sensor, i.e., a sensor for a U.S. car???

I hope the dealer checked your VIN and got the correct sensor for your car.

Cars built for export have a different TPMS computer in the car, and they require different pressure sensors in the tires. Did you see the sensor before it was installed? If it was gray in color it was for a 2005-2009 C6 built for the U.S. market. If it was orange then it was a sensor for a C6 built for export. The U.S. sensor is part# 25758220, and the one for a C6 built for foreign delivery is 25758221 - just the last digit is different. If you got the wrong one for your car it just won't work.

There's a sticker on the door of your glove comparment with all your RPO codes, and the code for a U.S. TPMS is UJ9. The code for a car built for foreign delivery is UH3.

Once again, a new sensor must be programmed into the TPMS, and if the wrong sensors are installed you cannot program them into the TPMS memory.

    Bob
