Hello my friend. Is your retirement looming in the near future getting you excited? I'm sure getting your car out of hibernation is putting a smile on your face. Life is treating us well, I hope it is treating you the same.
Peace, Bill
Long time no speak, How is the world treating you? Still able to get mine out and play with it. Roads are really starting to fall apart though. Take care hug the wife.
Bill
Thank you Jim for your thoughts on the catch can. They are definitely a hot topic with lots of opinions. I am going to sit on the can for right now. I surely don't want an issue with wiring harness. Dealer tells me they recommend this new process for cleaning the MAF, intake manifold, valves and combustion chambers. So when the service time for that comes around I will do that.
How is retirement looking? You will really like that stage of life. I am in year 7 and not missing full time at all. Not bored yet, we are dealing with Laurie's dad, he is 88 and having some dementia problems. Ever few days he comes to our house and I have to bath him.
Spring is 50 some days away and I am so ready for that. Had ours out about a week ago for a little bit. The roads are white with calcium chloride so after a good rain the roads washed pretty clean and I can go play.
Life is good,
Bill
Jim, I have a technical question for you. I have a CCA oil catch can, I have no mods, stock air cleaner. I don't see a lot of options as to where to mount it. Is it something I should really have. I do spirited driving I don't plan on track days. One of my concerns is the wiring harness is right where the pcv to intake connection is. That is a preformed hose. I do not have a preformed hose to go around the wiring connection so a install would put stress on the wiring. Am I worrying unnecessarily?
Should I have a can?
Thank You,
Bill
