    Biography
I bought my first vette at an adbandon vehicle auction for only $1375 and then $50 to have it towed home. It was a deal considering that the frame is solid, the interior is in ok-good condition, and its a vette! Unfortunatly it was n automatic. I did quite a bit of motor and brake work on that one. When we moved from Hawaii to our new station (my old home town) I bought another 75 (the one I have now and a 4-spd) and sold the other one for twice what I had in it to pay for this one.

I feel your pain.. too many choices! I really love certain colors on Chrome bumber cars and then not so much on our rubber bumbers. I think the modern Lemans Blue falls into that category for me. However, Electron blue seems to be a good fit as it has medium-dark to medium-light blues in the sun.

There is a good example in this thread http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c3-g...nt-jobs-2.html

Here is an 82 in lemans blue http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c3-g...photos-44.html

I'm still torn because I see the Laser blue on some cobalts, equinoxs and malibus and it looks down right amazing... then I see some purple ones... It has to be a combination of primer and the number of color coats... I think I might just have to be safe on this one and go for another blue.

    Howzit Bryan,
You are correct about how the color looks different for sure! My car is more purple than I care for. When I retire next year I'm doing a repaint as the paint has many flaws.I can see the primer on some areas and it is a light grey.My son's girlfriend has an 07 MINI and that color is Laser Blue.Another nice blue color is the 2007 Corvette Lemans Blue.It seems to be a just the right shade of blue that would look good on a rubber bumper C3.I'm leaning towards that color or maybe a deep black.Body has to be flawless to go black!
Then again I was thinking the Ford Titanium Grey that's on the 2006 GT! HAHAHA too many choices....[IMG][/IMG][IMG][/IMG]
