Hello all. I'm a long time lurker and Noobly registered today with CF. Photos will follow. I am lucky enough to work at a place that leases cars for it's employees. So, I thought why not a Z?

I have a 2001 QS Z.

I learned from years of lurking (daily) what to anticipate may need fixing. I had lots of stuff fixed before I actually owned the car (meaning company paid for fixes, not me): new clutch, new a/c unit, new stereo unit, CLB, leaky butt was fixed before it began actually dripping, rocking seat runners replaced, repainted entire car (front end twice), new tires all around (rears replaced twice due to fitment issue apparently) along with usual maintenance.

I didn't panic when the DIC showed the usual stuff like "active handling warming up" or "pull key wait 10 secs" due to all the great information you folks provide about this car.

I got the car used in 2004 with 25K on clock. I put another 50K miles on it then bought it, off lease, for 10K cash in 2007 but it seemed like a new car after all the repairs.

I've checked other forums but this one is by far and away the best! I get a laugh out of many replies and the information is amazing. The car is too. thanks!
