- John McCain was indicted and linked to the Keating Five savings and loan scandal, a precursor to the current financial mess that cost us 100+ BILLION in a government bailout. His judgement was bad then and his support of deregulation continues to this day and his actions helped create the current TRILLION dollar bailout. His budget and tax proposals will also add hundreds of billions to our government's deficit further crippling our recovery. Do not forget this while voting next month!
