Cars in my dads a garage in another state, can they make him give up the car???my atty thinks the car is a dead issue now, the doc. That was part of the cars history report .. Can it hold up in court since its a doc. That was signed and a notary stamped it at the court house..will this doc. Take the car out off the community prop. Status?????

They told me i had 3 days to turn the car over, but my lawyer has got them to cancell any action till we go to court, i atty. Has faxed over doc. That show he got new plates and title in aug. 2010 a month or so before she filed...also my atty faxed over the tx dept of trans. Doc that shows she signed over a statement that reads i release all rights to this vehicle legal and finanally to me on nov. 12th 2009.....when i was served the car had one legal owner my father.. Does this look good for me...??

Thanks airbus, i'm going to court for a temp orders hearing on nov. 17th.. She filed and told me that the orig. Court date was cancelled and i did not go, then i find out a couple weeks later that they did have the hearing and the court awared her the car, they didn't check who the car's correct owner was before the awared to her to drive...the cars out of state and my father is the only legal owner...what now????
