Hi Steve, My 98 C5 (with HUD installed)had the code B1061. Dealer told me to replace the SDM. I found your write up on this forum. Picture showed to move Light on cluster to new spot. You saved me aggravation, money and now have a working air bag light. THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!

Got a question for you from a fellow Air Force guy.......would appreciate an answer from someone who knows!
I've got an 05 (M6) with the crappy diff. I have a shot at an 06 diff and would be looking to do the swap myself. I know I need the tail housing from an 06 on car but it seems they are very expensive. Does it have to be the tail housing from an 06 or 07 car? Did this part change post 2008 with the fitting of the tr6060 trans? I ask as it appears the 08 up tail housing (different part number but 'looks' identical) is way cheaper than the 06/07 part. You crop up all over the forum talking about these things so thought i'd come direct to ya.
