    Yes, the soda blaster might be something to look in to but you are right on about finding out if he has experience with fiberglass and Corvettes in particular. My wife's cousin took his '57 to a soda blaster several years ago and it came back a mess. The guy went through the primer and left exposed fiber strands and it had to be hand sanded which didn't help very much, and then many coats of expoxy primer with sanding to get the fibers covered with enough depth so it could be finished painted. Cost him extra $ and lots of time. However, there are guys on the forum who seem happy with soda blasting.
