My wife and i got a 2006 chevy in 2008 , after 10 months my father paid the car off and gave it to me a b-day gift, my wife went down to the dept. Of motor vehicles and signed a state doc, that states she releasing all rights financially and legally to me only and signed the title over to me..then i transfered the title to my fathers name only... Now she has filed for divorce , who gets the car????? Texas law says what??
