Hi Todd, not sure if I'm posting this in the right place but I'll give it a try. I have a 1990 ZR-1 with a set of 17" Callaway Dymags (17x9.5 and 17x11 in the rear) and would like to put new 6 piston Wilwood brake kit up front along with the 4 piston and parking brake in the rear. I currently have a really old set of 6 piston Wilwoods on the front and the rims/tires stick out just a bit in the front.

Do you know which newer setup (6 piston front and 4 piston w/parking brake rears) would clear the Dymag rims? I know it can be done because I have a couple photos of another Corvette with Dymags and Wilwood setup I'm looking for. Let mew know your thoughts. Thanks Todd!

Hey Todd - Jeff McAllister here.

A few years ago I bought a highly modified C5Z. It came with Wilwood W6A (120-10224 & 225s) front calipers. They're old. Dust boots shredded and the calipers themselves are probably slightly bent. I've noticed a degredation in braking performance.

So, I'm looking to replace the calipers with another 6 piston caliper. There's so much information out there that I've become confused. If I am going to replace the calipers, I'd like to step the performance up.

I'm running floating hats and the rotors are slotted. I need new front rotors anyway (the rears were just replaced and seem to be functioning well).

I'm looking for suggestions and prices. My zip is 03110.

    Thanks Todd!

    Jeff
