Chris I found this old email you sent me about stainless steel brake hoses being safer than the 26 year old rubber. I am going to get the rear calipers off this week and wire brush them to a shine and install new seal from Napa. $17 each side. I can't wait to show you the end result. I think while I am down there I will hit the whole assmbly where the rotors go to clean up any surface rust. I am looking for new rear caliper springs in case I need to buy them.

Thanks! I'm currently buying parts for a nice little build for a fun daily driver. I'm doing a CC503, ported heads and intake, headers, and a tune from a good friend. Hoping for at least 370whp.

He built high quality kits like the IMSA cars. He had a red twin turbo 6 cylinder that made the Hot Rod calender probably in the late 80's. They were neighbors, I have been trying to find out if he is still in the business.

    Chris,

Thanks for the kind words! The wheels are 18 x 12.5 rear and 18x10 front. I'm not sure of the front offset but the rear is 36mm with 8.5" backspace. It is the ZR1 and early (84-87) offset. The color is an early 2000's BMW, I think titanium silver was the name. It has a lot of very small flake.

I don't have a link to the build really just a bunch of pictures. I am working on putting a little site together to keep track and document everything. I am more than happy to anwer any questions you have about it. The main issues were a poor rod stroke ratio, poorly installed valve seals, poor cam selection and so on... I should have just bolted a supercharger on the 408.
In your Fiero days, you ever hear about a guy named jJohn or James Sutter?
