I ordered a fuel pump kit for my 89 vette last week. I checked the order status to see if it's sent yet and it says it hasn't. Can you give me an estimate when it will ship? My vette is my daily driver and I'm tired of borrowing my dad's minivan. My order number is 109845.

I misplaced the little connector pkg that comes with your C5 pump/harness assembly. It's the one that allows an optional Boost-a-Pump to be hooked up. Can I get a replacement directly from you or do I need to go through Texas Speed?

    Thanks,
    Robert

Thanks for the feedback on the fuel pump, I was wondering if you could give me your advice on my problem? I tested the fuel pressure at idle and while driving, it was 36psi at idle and dropped to about 17psi when I put the pedal on the floor. the person who tested it told me it was most likely the pump and not the regulator because it holds pressure when i shut the car off. What do you think?? I also just changed the fuel filter which made no difference.

Saw your post on corvette forum and am hoping you can give me some direction.

My 99 c5 vert has the sts turbo system on it. The first year of owning the car the fuel pressure gauge read 60 lbs steadily with normal driving and under boost would drop to the 54 lb reading.

Now under normal driving the fuel pressure reads 60lbs at start up at beginning of day and as I continue driving it drops to a steady 50-52 lbs. Under boost it will drop into the mid 40's.

This concerns me as I do not want my pressure dropping below 52 or so under boost.

I am using a racetronix fuel pump and wiring harness. Should I be thinking fuel pump is bad or is there something else I should be looking at?

Also running 60 lb injectors. Motor is producing 480 rwhp.

I can feel a performance difference when fuel pressure drops. I am no longer running under boost when the fuel pressure has dropped.

Would appreciate any suggestions you may have.

    thanks

    Jack,

I've got the Racetronics kits in my C5. Ever since the install it has not picked up the last 3 gallongs or so of fuel. When it gets just below 1/8 tank my fuel pressure starts going away. Refilling confirms the problem is not the gauge. The pump has been out and inspected several times but the cause remains a mystery. Ed Hutchings of Automotive Technologies ( a supporting tuner) is the one doing the work. Have you seen this problem before? Ideas?

    Thanks,

    Kevin McDonald
