    1965 Big Block Casting Question
I looked at a 65 convertible that had the correct vin and IF on the engine pad.
The casting on the drivers side looked like the correct 3855962 (some of numbers hard to make out - e.g. 9 with curve almost looks like an 8).
On the passenger side there was a casting of letters "PASS".
Is this is a restamp motor out of a GM car?
The car looks good and price is reasonable but I want to know what I would be getting.

    New Jersey Dealership Info
I received NCRS info on my 63 coupe today.
The original Delivery Dealer was: Don Kikkert Chevrolet/Oldsmobile, Franklin, New Jersey
Dealer Code 172 in zone 35.
I looked on Google and couldn't find anything there.
Does anyone have any info on this dealer?

    New Jersey Dealership Info
I received info on my 63 coupe today (yes another guy looking for more info now).
The original delivery dealer was :
    Don Kikkert Chevrolet/Oldsmobile
    Franklin, NJ
Dealer code 172 in zone 35
I tried to Google the dealer but no info came up and it is no longer listed as a GM dealer and no other GM dealer is in Franklin.
Anyone have any info on Don Kikkert - who may have taken it over - was it a big dealer- ....?
    Thanks

    Battery Storag
I have a new battery from Restoration Battery but I wont be installing it until spring.
I have it now in an unheated garage on the floor on a board.
Although the temperature doesn't often drop below freezing should I put it in my basement on a board? Does it matter where it is kept?
