I've seen pics of the Collector Edition and think it looks sharp. A convertible would be really nice; I bet hearing the rumble of the engine while your enjoying the sunshine and open air experience would be great. Take it for a good drive (city and highway) and see how it makes yourself and your wife feel. If you can't test drive the collector edition, drive a regular convertible GS.
Buy it to enjoy it cause you know it will depreciate.
