Following your build and fantastic success at the strip. I am progressing with a similar 08 auto, z51 headers, added NPP, Halltech, and a tune. Made 412 rwhp. Recently added conti extreme sports and would like to get it to the strip for some fun.

Me again... Cross referenced and came up with Wix 49186. The flanges on that filter don't look like they can be cut. Your thoughts?

Howdy, Tom. How about a little contact outside the hoorah in the HP Tune thread? Nothing special; just keeping it friendly.
We share a color and year on our 'vettes. Mine's Z51 and NPP-equipped, and 3LT. And an HP Tune <grin>. It's my first, too. I've put 40k miles on it in two years tomorrow.
Two years ago next month (or maybe it was in Feb.) my wife and I drove down one evening to a small gathering of Corvette guys at the Goodwill story in Peoria. We shot the breeze with them and then went to supper. Nice bunch. Do you know of them? Maybe were one of them?

I've been around cars all my life, but never Corvettes. Borrowed my friends last year after we found out about my wife having stage four colon cancer. I'd been saving for a new car for some time and that put things on hold, but we both knew that a Corvette was the next car we wanted to buy. Not knowing how long we had, I was tired of waiting and decided to pull the trigger last week. It'll take a bit to get to know things about the car, but any help finding things on the site is why I'm here. Bye bye two wheels. Hello four. It's a slight learning curve again.
