This is Ty O'Neal with the "Gulf Grand Sport" build here in Dallas. I wanted to get in touch with you and see what parts you have developed for the Grand Sports. I am aware of your super light door hinges but I also wanted to check with you about anything new you have developed since we last visited.
I am rolling again on the car and I want to finish getting the parts together.
Larry, I'm Bill GS and have a 63 GSr also. Currently having clutch slave cylinder problems with the 89-96 ZF slave cylinder slightly modified to the T-56 in the car. You mentioned adapting a Honda slave cylinder and do not remember you mentioning it further in the GS posts.
I am replacing a 2 yr old slave with a NAPA cast slave for the sake of the seal which wore (in 800 mi) in a cupped manner on the OD of the seal. I have been looking for a replacement seal but have not purchased it yet to rebuild the old DOM slave.
What did you end up doing to your GS slave cylinder?
I tried to contact you via the private message link, but maybe you did not noticed it.
Would you be so kind to have a look at my message beacuse i would like to know a little bit more about your mongoose
