Hey there, I'm interested in your how to guide on removing the trans/torque tube items. I probably will be doing a clutch replacement soon, so anything you have I'm sure will be helpful. Thanks in advance. Ron My best email link is RNeal@Edgewell.com

    Chris,

I have recently inquired about the 6L80/90 trans holding power and tuning in the tech/performance forum sect located here: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-t...post1586970947
I understand, and have been warned by others, the amount of knowledge and wisdom you have with these transmissions. I have read other articles you've posted in about this back in 2011. Being that it is now 3 years later I was trying to get more info about this as I know you have likely gained more r and d time and testing. If you wouldn't mind please read my thread and consider my concerns for the future build I have in mind. Any and all advice would be greatly appreciated. Here is the current mods done to the car. Thanks in advance!

Hey I was wondering if you could help me with my engine harness, I have an 08 ls3 c6 that I've put an 06 ls7 in with the 06 engine harness, I repinned it going by the pinouts off of google but it still does nothing, I press the start button and I lose power for around 8 sec then everything comes back on, motor will not even crank over, so I'm debating on trying my 08 ls3 harness with the ls7 and wondering if it will work, also I'm trying the motor with my stock ls3 ecu...e38, I read that it should work, can you pls get back to me on this, my phone is 832 784 4310, names ray you can txt me or call whichever you prefer

    Hi Chris,
I've been searching for tranny coler install info & read recently that you installed one on your car, do you have pics of your installation that you wouldn't mind sending me?

    regards,

    Joe

    Hey, Chris

I finally got around to sending an A6 to Century for their upgrade. Actually, I bought the A6 from xcessivex here on CF for $1000 with shipping included. Mike at Century says they got it Friday (yesterday).
I wanted to ask, do you drive your Vette much or is it strictly used for drag racing. I only occasionally take mine to the drags and 95+% is street driving. Also, do you disable the torque control management (TCM) when you drag the car? If you disable the TCM, do you drive it on the street without TCM?
I'm just wondering if it's possible to drive the car without TCM and have the trans last...even if it is upgraded.

    Thanks,
    Santos Cadena
