Remove the metal piece.
The bottom seat cushion is held in place by a cord that wraps around the lower edge of the seat cushion.
I cut the cord and then I was able to lift the cushion up to get to the connector for the motors.
I jumped 12Volts from the battery the to motor connector to move the seat up and forward to get to the rear seat bolts.
I have the wiring diagram for the seat. I can send it to you. Mine is a 2005, but should be the same for all C6.
Hey no problem! I'm wanting to replicate your seat fix, you went through the switch as the picture I listed below? Does that silver metal piece unscrew and to give you room to access the cushion? Or are you getting to the cushion in a different fashion?
I'm trying to replicate your fix from https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...seat-inop.html, you mentioned you took off the seat switches, to be clear I found another photo of another user taking off the switches below. I'd imagine you have to fold up the leather to get to the cushion before you could plug the new connector in and connect the 12v to it?
