- First Vette in 1971, was a '61 for 900 bucks. Owned 50+Vettes from '54-03 since then. I'm partial to the '56-57's. 2 '56 and 3 57's. I've owned 54,56,57,59,60,61,62,63,64,65,66,67,68,69,70,71,74,75,77,78 and 03. Only one of some years and several of others. I Love 'em all. NCRS member for 30 yrs. Kicking myself for not joining NCRS at Bloomington Corvette Corral in 1974. Young and stupid then, and no money. Founded Tri-State Corvette Club in Evansville, IN, May 1974.
