I'm heading to Mitchell the first of May. Probably going to stay for 3 weeks to visit family and friends...I'm retired too, but not by choice, I was hurt on the job in 1998...so now i just amble about as best as i can...

What part of Oregon are you in...I was born in Prineville and raised in Mitchell...I go up there 'sans vette' at least 3 times a year to visit relatives...

I feels good to get rain, it's been so long since we've had this much...we were here in CA on water rations for the our lawns...
We've got about 4" of rain, but starting today we are supposed to be 65* and by Wednesday 75*...

Good to hear from you. Life on the hill is good- but getting down can be challenging. So far so good- although a section of fence did blow down today.
